Guatemala leaders trained on Evangelism with Passion

by | 11 Oct 2019

The Mesoamerica Region recently trained more than 60 people on the book Evangelism with Passion. The training was led by Nelson Valencia and Roger Lemus for the Northern and Southern districts of Petén, Guatemala.

Since the beginning of 2019, the region's evangelism ministry has trained about 500 people in El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, Nicaragua, and the Caribbean. The trainings have been shared by leaders from El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, and Panama.

Evangelism with Passion is available in Spanish, English, and Creole. The book's 10 chapters cover topics such as the fundamentals of evangelism, Jesus and Paul's model of evangelism, urban perspectives, motivation to fulfill the great commission, and more.

The region plans to train every field by challenging attendees to evangelize as part of everyday life in addition to presenting strategies for taking the gospel to the cities.

"Many districts are still missing, but the team is motivated, the districts are waiting, and the Holy Spirit is working together to do Evangelism With Passion," said Jerson Chupina, regional evangelism communications coordinator.
