Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

From 16-18 January, more than 250 leaders of Nazarene Missions International, pastors, and district superintendents from along Mexico’s southern border gathered in Tapachula, Chiapas, to strengthen their training in missions.

The Church of the Nazarene in Arima, Trinidad and Tobago, officially launched the child development center, “Center of Hope." The Center of Hope is a space created to integrate children from Spanish-speaking migrant communities into local primary schools.

Nazarene Youth International of the Guatemala West District carried out a community service activity called 4×4 Todo Terreno (All Terrain), which took place over 10 days from 23 December 2024 to 1 January 2025 in Palmarcito, Retalhuleu.

Over 240 participants and volunteers gathered at Third Wave 2025 in Orlando and Lake Placid, Florida from 7-13 January 2025, for a time of worship, training, and equipping for leadership. A total of 51 different countries and 23 different languages were represented among those present.

More than 200 young leaders from all six regions of the Church of the Nazarene will gather for Third Wave 2025 in Orlando and Lake Placid, Florida, from January 7-12 for training, discipleship, fellowship, and worship to help them begin to think globally.

From November 1 to 12, a team from the Mesoamerica Region evangelism ministry conducted a training tour in Guatemala to strengthen and expand evangelism and church planting efforts.

The Mopán Maya Iglesia del Nazareno, located in Belmopan, Belize, was the site of an impactful workshop titled “Holistic Care Among Children and How to Develop a Child Development Center.”

In October, Casa de Oración Iglesia del Nazareno in San José, Costa Rica, conducted two impactful evangelistic activities as part of its urban evangelism strategy.
