General Secretary Gary Hartke and Nazarene Research Services released the annual Church of the Nazarene statistical report for 2022. This detailed report documenting the missional activities of the denomination on a global scale shows growth for the Church of the Nazarene over the statistical year,

A new Annual Pastor’s Report (APR) has been launched for the Church of the Nazarene as of 1 October 2022. Changes to the old report were made to allow for enhanced representation of the global church.

Akash Singh has been appointed district superintendent of the India Northwest District. Singh served as pastor of Patiala Church of the Nazarene from August of 2010 through January 2021.

Mathias Christadas has been appointed district superintendent of the India North Karnataka District. Christadas has served as the pastor of Konunkunte Church of the Nazarene since 1988 and led the Karnatka District from 2011 to 2020.

Timothy Carter was elected superintendent of the Iowa District on 14 July 2022. He has pastored Cedar Rapids First Church of the Nazarene since 1997 and served as district secretary since July 2013.

Brad Kochis was elected superintendent of the North Carolina District on 24 June 2022. Kochis has 21 years of pastoral experience and currently serves as the executive director of Alumni Relations and Advancement at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Nazarenes around the globe are invited to join Love Your Neighbor, a service project taking place in Indianapolis, Indiana, 9-14 June 2023, in conjunction with the 30th General Assembly. Registration begins in July 2022.

The Southwest Native American District elected Michael Andrews as its new superintendent on 11 June 2022.

In just under one year, Nazarenes from around the world will gather in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA, for the 30th General Assembly and Conventions.

The General Assembly, which will be attended by Nazarenes from across the globe, is scheduled 9-16 June 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.
