General Superintendent Emeritus W. Talmadge Johnson passed away on 6 December 2023 at age 86. Elected at the 25th General Assembly and Conventions, Johnson was the 33rd General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.

The Global Ministry Center of the Church of the Nazarene celebrated its 15th anniversary last month. The administrative offices of the global church began operating from the two-story, 109,000-square-foot facility in Lenexa, Kansas, USA, on 15 September 2008.

The Board of General Superintendents has elected Brazil native Alessandro Polonio to the position of South America regional director, effective 21 October 2023. Polonio succeeds Christian Sarmiento, who was elected the 45th General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene at the General Assembly

Ernest Treviño appointed superintendent of Texas-Oklahoma Latin District

Ernest Treviño has been appointed superintendent of the Texas-Oklahoma Latin District. He helped open Living Water Church of the Nazarene in Progreso, Texas, in 2014 and has served as the pastor there since 2017.
