What motivates you to work with youth?Fulfilling God’s call. Seeing young people transformed by the Holy Spirit and then change lives, families, and communities. The mission of NazaTeen [Brazil NYI for youth age 12-18] is to build Christian character and build faith.
 
How many years have you been in youth ministry? 
Since 2009 as a youth pastor. Before that, I served in the church as a volunteer youth worker teaching Sunday School and leading sports ministry.
 
What is the best book you have read relating to youth ministry?
Purpose Driven Youth Ministry by Doug Fields
 
What’s the best advice you can give a youth leader?  
Love God above all things. Do everything God asks you to do in the best possible way.
 
What’s the best advice you can give to parents of youth?
Love your children with your actions, not simply words. Parents need to spend intentional and quality time together with youth.
 
What would you like the church to know about today’s youth?
The church would benefit from knowing about technology tools to minister to youth (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp,  etc.). The church as the opportunity to connect through technology in meaningful ways with youth.
