William Laruccia dos Santos was elected superintendent of Curitiba District on 29 October 2023 during the district assembly.
Dos Santos takes on the responsibility after eight years of leadership from Roberto Elias Vieira.

“We feel honored and graced by God to serve the Lord's church even more firmly in the noble mission of making Christ-like disciples in Curitiba and the region,” Dos Santos said. “Like Solomon, we pray for wisdom from on high to fulfill this role faithfully.”

William has served as senior pastor at churches in São Paulo, Athens, Rome, Milan, and most recently in Curitiba since December 2015. He has a bachelor's degree in theology, a postgraduate degree in leadership and team management, a specialization in Greek, and is studying for a doctorate in strategic leadership and pastoral ministry.

William and his wife, Irina, have been married since 2000.
