Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 8-12 April.

More than 200 Ecuador youth participated in training and spiritual growth camps in late March. While enjoying times of recreation, games, and spiritual growth, 125 decisions for Christ were made.

Carol Hunton, 86, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away 7 April 2024. She was a retired missionary who served in Malawi, Zambia, Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), and Australia.

Cosmas Mutowa was appointed interim field strategy coordinator for the Africa South East Field on 28 March 2024.

The Church of the Nazarene in Kenya is showing love to its neighbors in a unique way by helping combat the dangers of snake bites through a snakebite prevention program.

On the first Sunday of March, members of the Church of the Nazarene in Santa Teresa Carazo in Nicaragua mobilized to help the Church of the Nazarene in the El Ojochal community build its sanctuary.

Jim Ritchie officially began his role as director of Global Missions 1 April 2024 following the retirement of former director Verne Ward. Ritchie shared about his passion for missions and what he looks forward to in his new position.
