The following is a weekly listing of Nazarene ministers and leaders who recently went home to be with the Lord. Notices were received 8-12 July 2019.

Ronald Dech, 70, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away 2 July. He was a retired minister, serving in Texas, Colorado, California, and Oklahoma. He is survived by his wife, Linda Dech.

Paul Hulen, 60, of Nampa, Idaho, passed away 14 June. He was a retired minister, serving in Wyoming, Arizona, Oregon, North Dakota, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Rebekkah Hulen.

Clara Johnson, 88, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away 8 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Lloyd Johnson, who served in West Virginia. Lloyd Johnson passed away in 2006.

Rebecca Kays, 52, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away 20 June. She was the wife of minister John Kays, who is serving at Klamath Falls WestSide Community Church of the Nazarene.

Patricia Long, 89, of North Canton, Ohio, passed away 10 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Russell Long Sr., who served in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Russell Long Sr. passed away in 2002.

Donald Maynard, 84, of Bellevue, Nebraska, passed away 1 July. He was a retired minister, serving in Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Mary Maynard.

Norine Moore-Woods, 90, of Clio, Michigan, passed away 28 June. She was the wife of retired minister Howard Woods, who served in Michigan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, retired minister Duane Moore, who served in Montana and Michigan. Duane Moore passed away in 2002.

Glenna (Turner) Shelp, 91, of Wildwood, Florida, passed away 1 July. She was the wife of retired minister Donald Shelp, who served in New York, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, and Maine.

Katherine Shreffler, 93, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away 1 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, minister Charles Shreffler, who passed away in 1973.

Jim Stewart, 82, of Hanahan, South Carolina, passed away 30 June. He was a retired minister and evangelist, serving in Oklahoma, Ohio, Virginia, Kentucky, and Alabama. He is survived by his wife, Mary Stewart.

Naomi Sutherland, 86, of Westfield, Indiana, passed away 3 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Roland Sutherland, who served in Illinois, Nebraska, Ohio, West Virginia, and Indiana. Roland Sutherland passed away in 1996.

Lola Williams, 85, of Galion, Ohio, passed away 4 July. She was preceded in death by her husband, retired minister Walter Williams Sr., who served in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Florida. Walter Williams Sr. passed away in 2010.

C. Ruth Wooster, 82, of Duxbury, Massachusetts, passed away 6 July. She was the wife of retired minister Tyler Wooster, who served in Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York.
