Southern Cone Nazarene Theological Seminary celebrated its 16th Conference for Perfecting the Decentralized Teaching Faculty.

Conference training topics covered Nazarene identity and workshops included Nazarene Theological Identity, Our Identity in the Face of Ethical Challenges, and The Identity Crisis in the Newer Generations.

Workshop speakers included Church of the Nazarene General Editor Frank Moore, Mount Vernon Nazarene University President Emeritus Lebron Fairbanks, Southern Cone Field Strategy Coordinator Juan Jose Zani, and Southern Cone NTS Rector Jorge Julca.

Nearly 90 professors from Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay were accredited as Southern Cone NTS decentralized faculty members during the conference. They will be developing their teaching ministry throughout the year in the different educational centers across the Southern Cone.

Between the training sessions were times of worship, communion, celebration, and reflection in small groups.

“Praise the Lord for this team of faithful people who are investing their lives to form new generations of Nazarene ministers,” Julca said.
