Trevecca Nazarene University announced that award-winning, student-produced documentary Your Kingdom Come was being released to the public for free.

The documentary, filmed on location in Israel in 2017, can be viewed in its entirety on YouTube.

Your Kingdom Come is focused on the life of Christ and delves into the concept and meaning of the kingdom of God.

Seth Conley, professor of media arts, hopes that this focus on Christ in the midst of the uncertainty caused by the global COVID-19 outbreak will help believers refocus on the hope and peace they have in Him.

“We feel the story of Your Kingdom Come has a powerful message that is particularly relevant over the next several weeks,” he said. “We're releasing this film free online to remind us all that the God who provided for the Israelites in the desert is the same God who cares for us today. It’s our hope that the work of our Trevecca students, from the filming to the music, inspires and moves others to fully rely on God both in the good times and bad.”

More than 20 students participated in the interdisciplinary project, which included writing and producing the documentary as well as the music and score. Conley led the trip, along with Tim Gaines, assistant professor of religion, and Shawna Songer Gaines, then serving as Trevecca’s university chaplain. Eric C.E. Wilson worked with Trevecca music students to score the music for Your Kingdom Come.

In 2018, Foundry Publishing released a Bible study curriculum—also written by Trevecca students—based on the documentary.
