Retired missionary Larry Faul passes away

Retired Church of the Nazarene missionary Lawrence “Larry” Faul passed away August 11. He was 91.

Faul was born in Germantown Township, North Dakota, August 9, 1925. He married Betty Foraker August 16, 1945, and the couple served as missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene for 38 years. They served in Barbados from 1952 to 1969, Guyana from 1969 to 1970, Trinidad & Tobago from 1970 to 1974, Antigua from 1974 to 1984, and Jamaica from 1984 to 1990.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; three children, Sharon Todd, Judith (Dean Weir), and Linda (Douglas Rouse); three grandchildren, Amy, Angie, and Tim; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, and one brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.
