Peru conference trains leaders to develop ministries

by | 27 Mar 2019

More than 385 people across Peru ranging from 18 to 60 years of age gathered for a Generational Leadership Conference 7-9 March in Chiclayo, Peru.

The conference sought to encourage, train, and challenge pastors and leaders to develop relevant ministries in their local churches. It was organized by the Wholistic Child and Youth Development group at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Peru.

A team of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries leaders and speakers came from the different countries across South America and North America to speak at the event, including NCM Global Director Nell Becker Sweeden, Peru pastor Willi Briones, and pastor and leadership specialist Lucas Leys.

There were also representatives from 10 districts — Cajamarca District, North Peru District, Andean District, La Libertad Chavin, South Central District, Loreto District, North East District, Alto Marañon District, Utcubamba District, and the North Pacific District.
