by | 07 Jan 2016

This week Mount Vernon Nazarene University announced details of its restructured School of Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS).

Ronald Bolender, Class of 1977, was selected as dean for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. Bolender was instrumental in the efforts to implement the first adult education program at the university, developing the first off-site campus for MVNU.

Christy (McNutt, Class of 1997) Robison was chosen as director for GPS student recruitment. Robison was previously employed at Ohio Christian University and will oversee several enrollment specialists to assist in recruitment strategy and execution.

In addition, the GPS program organized an academic council that will have the ability to expedite new academic programs when needed.  The school will also bring on several business-to-business relation specialists to further network and perfect relationships with human resource directors in local businesses.
