Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

Amalia and Marlon Caicedo serve in the marriage ministry at Iglesia del Nazareno Kadosh in Santa Clara, Ecuador, helping couples reconcile, heal, and strengthen their marriages through God’s Word. Brian Wiesinger was appointed superintendent of the Southwest Oklahoma District on 11 December 2023. He currently is the pastor of The Crossing Church of the Nazarene in Westminster, Colorado.

Ñandemba'e, meaning "ours," is a word from the Guaraní language — an indigenous language mainly spoken in Paraguay. Ñandemba'e served as the retreat slogan for pastors and leaders of Paraguay.

Nazarene Youth International Timor-Leste held a youth camp during the national holiday known as “Finadu Day,” and over 100 young people participated.

General Superintendent Emeritus W. Talmadge Johnson passed away on 6 December 2023 at age 86. Elected at the 25th General Assembly and Conventions, Johnson was the 33rd General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene.

Jim Bond was appointed superintendent of the Oklahoma District on 30 November 2023. Bond has been the superintendent of the Kansas District, serving in that role since 2014.

Lois Taylor, 97, of Pittsfield, Illinois, passed away on 27 November 2023. She was a retired missionary who served for 19 years in Guyana, the Bahamas, Barbados, and Trinidad and Tobago, alongside her husband, Samuel Taylor.

On 28 October 2023, Zion Church of the Nazarene in Hwambi dedicated its newly built church building thanks to Alabaster funds. This local church was organized in July 2020.
