In 2009, Anna Jara accepted a role as a translator for a Nazarene Work & Witness team traveling to Armenia. Little did she know that 14 years later, she would be part of a historic moment as one of the first women to become an ordained pastor in Armenia.

Barry Kennard, 54, of Hastings, Nebraska, passed away 11 August 2023. Kennard served as co-lead pastor of Lakeside Community Church in Hastings, alongside his wife, Krystal Kennard.

David Dayhoff, 85, of Cumberland, Maryland, passed away on 8 August 2023. He served as pastor of Cumberland Bethel Church of the Nazarene since 1962. At the time of his death, he was the longest-serving active pastor of a single Church of the Nazarene.
