Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Philippines and the Nazarene Disaster Response team provided immediate help to 400 affected families from 18 areas in Eastern Mindanao 3-6 February 2024 due to severe flooding that devastated the province.

Since September 1, 2009, the Church of the Nazarene's Global Ministry Center (GMC) proudly flies a flag each week of one of the many nations in which the denomination is present in ministry. Leaders were invited to send a national flag to be flown at the GMC alongside the flag of the United States*.

The Church of the Nazarene officially recognized Belgium as its 165th world area on 23 February during the 100th Session of the General Board, held in Overland Park, Kansas, USA.

Gregory Hephner, 59, of Wichita, Kansas, passed away 21 February 2024. He was a member of the General Board of the Church of the Nazarene, elected in June 2023. He passed just six weeks after receiving a glioblastoma diagnosis.

The Board of General Superintendents announced that Jim Ritchie has been elected by the General Board to serve as the Church of the Nazarene’s next Global Missions director.

The Church of the Nazarene's Global Missions office recommended nine missionaries for commissioning during the 100th General Board session, held in Overland Park, Kansas, USA, 23-26 February.

The Church of the Nazarene announced the following retiring missionaries during the 100th Session of the General Board. As individuals, they have given a combined 156 years of service to God through the Church of the Nazarene.

The installation of Kouamé Kamenan as the new superintendent of the Côte d’Ivoire South District of the Church of the Nazarene took place on Sunday 4 February 2024 at Grace Church in Andokoi.

Shane Lima will join Eastern Nazarene College as college pastor and executive director of Spiritual Life. Lima is the lead pastor of Ambassadors Church of the Nazarene in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene.

Ronald “Phillip” Sessions, 86, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away 10 February 2024. He was a retired district superintendent who led the Alabama South (now Central Gulf Coast) District from 1988 to 1997.
