Pastor Sean McPherson remembered

Sean McPherson, lead pastor of Real Life Church of the Nazarene in Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away 26 April after battling cancer for more than a year. He was 47. McPherson also served as a South Dakota state representative, a position he was elected to in 2016 where he served District 32.

Philadelphia District elects new superintendent

General Superintendent David A. Busic announced the election of Kerry W. Willis as superintendent of the Philadelphia District . Elected 23 April on the first ballot, Willis replaces Newell Smith, who is retiring after serving 18 years in the position. Willis will begin his new assignment 28 May.
